Welcome!

It was my father, Mr. St. Johanes L. Toruan, the Late, who inherited but for good he unendorsed the Dutch exclusive art shop “Keller Kleeding” in 1940’s located in the town of Bandung, capitol city of West Java Province at the very famous Braga Street. The street’s name given by the Dutch colony after one of and / or to copied the old city of European Portuguese, and these location in that time was built by the Jews community about two centuries ago. (See picture 1-5). Than it was me who felt insprired to firmed the business for the sake of “Braga 42” her self.

After retired from more than 18 years working experience since 1978 in state owned export-import banking institution which brought me around the globe, domestic and international, while during that time still collecting many “artefacts”, & in the year of 1998, just in the time of monetary crisis in Indonesia and in the whole region, I intended to carry on my father’s “dream” to establish a spefic gallery that offer meubellairs / furnitures and other antique things including cars and bikes, clocks / watches, sculptures, potts and porcelains, etc. (See Picture 6). Some of my adventures and journeys was written in one of my book under title “OPUS 9#9, Archipelago State”, 2002 (See Picture 7).
